Dear Mr. Dowd:

I hear the drum beating louder and louder, and am anxiously awaiting the cymbals, bass drum and tympani roll, culminating in a massive reverberation 'round the world!

There is a good chance that in about a week MSFT could take off on the Windows2000
release on Feb 17th. Actually the conference starts on Feb. 15h and official release
is on the 17th. Gates speaks on 17th. I think The stock could surge any point now.
I am not sure if it will hit 120 or not but with the level of excitement that
I expect MSFT will generate, it is possible that there could be a sharp surge, at
least for the short term. [Disclaimer: There is very high risk with short term
predictions and I own long positions on MSFT]
