*OT* I don't short any more, but if the Naz makes a new high (quite possible IMO), I'll be all over the puts -- probably individual issues if the premiums on the index are too high.

I've been playing the dow options the past 3 weeks, and I will re-establish put positions soon.

(OT) - Went short on the Nasdaq 100 vs buying puts. I did a half position at 189 1/2. If it makes a new high I'll consider shorting the other 1/2 around 200 or higher.

Also went short a little NT (104 3/4) purely on a technical basis. It's chart pretty much follows QQQ so I don't think it's too risky although it's a great company.

The symbol is USPIX. I am in at 2.69. Take a look at the chart over the last two years.
