Would love to get the argument as to how this plays out and makes a profit over time. I checked out the various players and couldn't keep up with all the names that were offering cars and service. I bought AWEB and got out for a small profit. They seemed to have the connections with AOL and Yahoo. ABTL seems to have made some decent connections as well.

My concern is that this really is not an area where one will be able to go from information to purchase and delivery without getting involved with those pesky dealers we all love. Without that type of entry, duplicating a car information site seems relatively easy. There are some small sites with good databases that might be better plays.

None of the ones out there seem to do a really great job as I found out when I was looking for a car.

Not trying to bash -- just get the argument going for why I should buy some shares here.
