Dear NW: I agree. I regret that I did not see the segment so as to have a complete sense of the way this rumor was handled (at our expense). From what I pick up, this whole thing was presented devoid of the context.

You are right. The prices people would accept for CPQ should best have been presented in a totally different context. Say, one that examines how even serious investors can share moments of levity, share dry senses of humor even in cyberspace as revealed lately by one group of investors on a SI thread who tackle international semantic domains toilets and hold a contest for what price another company will be willing to pay for their stock.

In retrospect, I do not think it was right to show Robin's posting without prior permission from him and people on the list.
