Sawtooth: Given the lead to the "old" thread, and that many here "come from" there, it would seem that discussion of Nextwave ought to be very appropriate indeed here.

And the FCC (mis)handling well worth trying to evaluate. Nextwave either will be able to roll out its nationwide data nextwork soon, or if the FCC keeps throwing roadblocks in its way, later, or perhaps, never.

If the FCC wins, the result would seem to be the destruction of a company, the postponement (at a minimum) of a national data delivery system, and financial losses for those who have put money in one way or another in Nextwave.

A very strange situation worthy of trying to understand the facts and why.

Perhaps the FCC is doing good, just hard to see that as so on its face. Chaz
