George, i agree the fundamentals don't support this move in the long bond - yet. imo the curve inversion, while it is exaggerated by the forced unwinding of wrong bets on the spread, is a warning that the overheating economy may soon fall off a cliff. at some point the incredible ratio of household debt vs. disposable income HAS to slow down the consumer... btw, did you see the platinum group metals? incredible moves today...rhodium is up 600 bucks or 42%. apparently there's a real shortage developing.
