I don't think that today is a day for either. I've moved to a moderately defensive stance (for me) in recent weeks already. I have reduced options to >25% of total holdings (which reduces volatility, protecting me from a margin call), through increasing equity percentages.

Between Friday morning and the Monday lows, I was down ~$800K. Since Monday's lows, my portfolio has increased over $1.2MM net/net (which puts me roughly back at an all time high mas o menos a 100K, but who's counting). In the old days, I would've had a higher return (percentage wise), but then again, I wasn't sweating on this past Monday, either. I was buying more...
