Victor,

re: >>HJ- Long and intermediate bonds racing to the moon!

If lil' ole me could have seen strength in bonds coming, why couldn't the genius hedge fund mgrs who are (were?) short the bonds?<<

Is it just me or do bond traders seem to waaaay overdo everything in every direction? Considering the leverage allowed on bonds these guys make us retail investors look sane.

I'm personally making my largest contribution ever to those Fed tax revenues. You might be on to something. Bought some ICGE earlier today (seemed cheap) fully expecting some short term stagnation with the lockup and look what happens... John Meriwether eat your heart out.

Not touching those volatile and scary bonds,
C Nelson Reilly

Victor, bonds? If your into bonds the place to be is in Convertible bonds, just like Amzn has.
Check out Calamos growth & income A's. 27.9% total return compared to 6% treasury bond return is not bad. Unless we're in a recession.
