To be fair, the next 2 128meg increments on the dell machine are cheaper, 256meg extra is $1420 and 384 extra is $1820. Pricewatch shows a low price of $591 for 128 meg RDRAM, and shopper.com actually has some for $516/128 meg. It's unclear if those are 800-grade parts, though, the listed parts are all oem specific, IBM and HP, + one Kingston. For comparison, pricewatch has 128meg PC100 for $97, 128meg PC133 for $113.
