Summary - Job growth jumps:

The U.S. economy created 387,000 jobs in January, the government said Friday, well above Wall Street forecasts for an increase of 270,000 and December's 315,000. The unemployment rate edged down to 4 percent while average hourly earnings rose 0.4 percent to $13.50. Bond prices and S&P futures rose after the report, pointing to a higher open on Wall Street.
