MONACO, RE: .if you were developing software, behind what chip would you concentrate your efforts on?? A lot depends on the resources I have. If I can afford to both I will do both. Let us say I have to make a choice. Then the following factors will come into play. 1) What is the road map for each architecture? 2) What is the number of customers for each architecture? 3) What does the market dictate? Of this will be subjective as part of it is my own choice here (depending on what I am betting). 4) How good a software team I have? Can I pull off a one code stream development for this product? This is all hypothetical answers to you question. mula
