From today's NY Times on the Web, the FCC is promoting a wireless Internet:

nytimes.com

I don't know if you need to sign up with the NY Times to read that, but my headline pretty much tells the story. If Motorola weren't already an $80B market cap, I'd look at buying some of its stock. MOT is starting to look like the Intel of the wireless Web.

David,

Isn't Christine Whitman the Governor?....How odd.

I'm looking forward to Maryland law enforcement adopting this new gun......I think there would be many openings created within the department......in one day!

And big powerful speeches by the "outgoing" party?

This is the same government that mandated oil companies to put BHT in gasoline....which is now shutting down water supplies across the country....and will soon be the biggest environmental disaster of the last 30 years. Ask the good folks in Santa Monica, CA. Ooooops!

So when everyone comes here....because they can't drink their own water, David.......they can bring their smart guns and batteries....and moist towelettes.

Biometric guns will not solve the problems you people have back East......It may get a few Democrats elected......but it will not solve any of your problems.

bg

ps. And as long as we're talking beltway...... When the heck are you guys going to get the nuclear waste out of INEEL?.......My guess?....Never. Throw it in with every treaty ever signed with an Indian tribe. Worthless paper.
