Richard,

I read your post from a couple of weeks ago and I thought it was an excellent post. People giving advice should be held accountable for their advice and your post reflected his ups and downs.

Re: "You make it sound like no one should ever take anyone else's advice; that everyone should become an investment analyst in their own right."

Not at all, Richard. If anything, many BrinkerBots act as if they are investment analyst. Of course this is only the case when a Brinker recommendation goes south.

As we saw last week, there will be no shortage of BrinkerBots waiting to praise Bob for his latest call at any sign of market weakness. However, I have no doubt that if the market ends up not going down 20% and actually continues its ascent that many BrinkerBots will be telling us that they came to their decision after their own assessment of the situation not because of blind faith in an "on air" expert adviser.

You may not be a blind follower, but I believe many are and my statement addressed "most" BrinkerBots, not all.

Best Regards.
