As I haven't really been paying too much attention to Mattel until the past couple months, can someone answer what is probably a stupid question?

If last year the company made $.20 a share in the fourth quarter, and it's well known that TLC was to be a major drain on profits this quarter, why were expectations higher than last year?

Well, aftermarket trading can be deceiving but it looks like another buying opportunity tomorrow. MAT has traded back down below 11.
