Kevin, apparantly GUMM is stepping up advertizing (TV commercials), spending that is.
Next few months will be quite interesting. Theres a lot of expectation built into this price (giving 50 mil to the gum operations leaves 210 mil for GUMM's 60% interest in Gel Tech, valuing Gel Tech at 350 mil.....a bit steep)

Hey, I've said all along that it's possible to see a product like Zicam sell well it's first cold season out. After all, we Americans are addicted to anything new and cutting edge. Of course, once people try Zicam and find out that it 1) doesn't work as advertised, 2) is relatively unpleasent to use, 3) is slow to act and 4) is relatively expensive relative to any one of dozens of fast acting remedies, they will stop buying. Maybe the people that shop at Albertson's already fell for the zinc lozenge scam and weren't willing to get suckered in twice.
