I spent many years as an avid science fiction reader... love it! Then came the internet and SI addiction. LOL! Now I read fewer books for entertainment (I currently have six new books waiting at my elbow to be read - one is Dorsey's P&F book - is that SF?). Yes, Hawkings is a genius...

Believe me, if your posts put me to sleep, I would not have spent my precious time following you around! <ggg> Thanks for your contributions.

Ron that is a great site. It was funny that Lou changed CNN for a web start up. After interviewing so many start-up millionares he thought, I go for it!

Last year I did a course on Astronomy. That really changed a lot of my view on the world, time and life.
First of all, I thought that based on general knowledge I knew the basics. But no. It was almost all new. Astonishing. What is the sun. How is the life of a star. Understand the composition of planet earth as the debri of a super nova explosion.

The amount of energy produced by our sun in one second is equivalent to the energy consumption of the US in 250 years.

The universe exists 10 billion light years.... so we are just tiny tidbits. so no need to worry, just have fun while i'm here.

One other thing I got from the course that people are used to think in a very small range of possibilities. They project growth in coming years in a range of 2-6% per year.

If you think astronomical, multipliers of 1000 are normal. So you accept the power of the internet and don't see it like Auric as an bubble.

Check this chart out (unfortunately i don't have shares):
siliconinvestor.com
that is what you call a stellar performance

and the response of Auric after shorting this stock:
Message 12642052 sounds like he was the bubble
