Too bad Secretary Richardson isn't an Admiral in the US Navy. Being sooooooooooo concerned about oil prices being "too high" in debased dollars, he would surely order his vessels to "stand down" so that Iraqui crude could find it's way to the market place.

I wonder what Senator Schumer thinks of the US Navy being directly involved in a policy that can only serve to help keep oil prices high? I guess Senator Schumer is between a rock and a very hard place. Help Saddam or tolerate highER oil prices. Decisions, decisions. The irony is delicious, is it not? If only Senator Schumers political party had ceased and desisted from it's relentless and villanous attacks on oil companies and supported the US Oil industry, then his constituents may not be in the situation they currently find themselves. Senator Schumer has only himself and his party to blame for the current state of affairs in the oil markets.
