Hi flik,
I should clarify my statement of past purchases from the on-liners. buy.com was selling 10 pk Zip disks early on for $54.00 while at the time I couldn't touch them anywhere for less than $89.00 I had ordered several times and finally was refused further shipments probably after they found out that they were losing on them, they currently wholesale around $78.00. More recently like four weeks ago I purchased external clik! drives from them for $99.00, wholesale everywhere was $192.00 retailing due to a recent price drop of $199.00 at the time $249.00. In all fairness they now have them for $199.95 and this was no doubt an error. FWIW the . coms were retailing goods for wholesale prices or less, I would often quote their pricing as a bench mark price for my suppliers to beat. In the last 4 months or so they have dramatically raised their prices, many at MSRP.
