hi gbucks,

two methods for ya...

with your mouse pointer, left click on the text where you want to begin, then while holding the mouse button down, slide the pointer over the desired text. when you let go, you will have highlighted the text. at this point you can go two ways.

first way is you press the 'ctrl' key and 'c' key simultaneously. then go to where you wish to paste the text. click on the area with your mouse pointer. then press the 'ctrl' key and the 'v' key simultaneously.

there you have it.

the second method is, after following instructions in the first paragraph above, click on 'edit', then 'copy'. then go to the place you wish to paste the text and click there. finally, click on 'edit' and 'paste'.

there you go again.

let us know if you have other questions.

:)

One more option to add to marks answer. Select your text the way mark described, then right click anywhere within the selected (blue) area and from the drop down menu left click copy. Go the spot where you want to insert the text, right click your mouse and choose paste.

gbucks,

Not an attempt to throw you into data overload, but there is a third way to copy and paste in addition to the two mr.mark described.

Left click on your subject, or text as Mark described.

Then simply right click, left click on copy, move your curser to the desired location, right click again, then left click on paste.

I find this the easiest and fastest method.

To each her/his own, I guess.

Have fun,
Phil

Edit: After I composed this message, I see that TC beat me to it.
