Dave.....you've been reading my notes!! I too have been with Schwab for about 3 or 4 years. Recently switched a good cash portion to CyberCorp and so far am very happy, (except for the recent news about Schwab). As for Velocity. velocity is a unit of speed....in Schwab's case....very slow speed. Agonizingly slow trades at premium prices. 6 minutes for a market order??? gimme a break. I' afraid they are going to screw up cybercorp.
