Charles, There is a good chance they will be soldered as eliminating the socket-carrier combo allows the parts to be planted directly on the board. This will increase the yield(better high speed data pathways with a direct soldered unit with no socket) as well as cutting the cost.
I may be wrong?, but I think not.
That means the games will be sold with all the memory they will have. They also might sell the games in different memory sizes at different costs??
