Faber is on a roll this morning...nice dig on Grubman and Smith Barney, that was GREAT! "Yep, looks like his upgrade topped the stock off" as they show a chart of T which has gone straight down since the upgrade, then makes the connection between Grubman's call on T and Smith Barney suddenly getting included in the underwriting group for T's wireless spinoff IPO.

Next sentence, he starts talking about some other analyst who cut his rating on a stock because it was getting close to his price target...not missing a beat, Faber then says, tongue-in-cheek, "that's a bit odd, usually that's when analysts RAISE their ratings.." Great line!

On a separate note, has this Kudlow guy ever seen an economic report he DIDN'T like? He is quite the spinmeister.
