Regarding the question of participation in the China market for wireless posted a few messages ago:

I recall that DSC's largest customer was consistently Motorola, buying infrastructure equipment for both CDMA and GSM wireless. I would be very surprised if Alcatel was not continuing that business relationship or even if Motorola had any real alternative to that source.

So count Alcatel in via Motorola.
