Paul, Besides being the corporate "preferred brand" of microprocessor, Intel was large vendor to Ford during the mid 1980's to
the mid 1990's, selling them an embedded CPU and I/O chips that were the heart of their engine and emission control
systems.


So sometimes, or, as usual I should say, a big corporate buyer, or a small one, sees through the PC case to what CPU chip is inside. Big edge Intel hasn't lost any of, corporate.
