I watch Hardball a lot. Matthews is one of the straightest shooters in TV land. But his show and the others you mentioned are opinion shows.

All the news reporters, from the AP stringer to Tom Brokaw, might as well be DNC hacks.

One of Reagan's criteria for choosing Bush senior as his vp was that Bush senior was a weak person.

Bush chose Quail because he was a weak person.

God Damn it!! When you hire staff, you should hire the best, not someone whose most important characteristic is that you can dominate them.
