I am an investor first and a partisan second. My AMD shares cost me nothing. I am confident that AMD is now in a strong enough position to stay above $15 by next January. The Athlon is a very good product and coupled with the strong demand for Flash, I see AMD staying above water for a few quarters, at least. Intel's upcoming products are VERY strong and their position is not threatened, IMHO. Looks to me like AMD can make a living in the mid range but I do not believe they can compete with Willamette performance wise. I have been wrong before but that's the way it looks to me so that's why I traded the way I did. AMD stays above water and I keep my put premiums.
