Tom, I bought shares of FNTN at .75 before last run. At that time company was just installing the equipment. The company did not even have a website. I sold 2000 shares around a $1.50. Since then the company has declined in share price. You are correct about investing in management. You can have the best technology in the world but without the right people you are dead in the water. When FNTN fell to new lows I started catching up on old DD. I feel good about buying a few shares around .23. As far as being a daytrader, I'm not. I look for bottoms and buy. You are correct about me reading between the lines. Like I said before I'm catching up and posting my thoughts. I will go back to lurking with no more posts. One final note, I bought 7k shares of FNTN in Dec and have not sold. I would say I invested $1600 wisely. I could have more than doubled my money twice if I wanted to daytrade FNTN. So much for scalping a few pennies.

Greg

Hi Tom , No one has to read between the lines to know that FNTN has plans to employ an enhanced data mining engine for their Intranet services platform.
ENHANCED DATA MINING ENGINE ! , which reminds me that FNTN has an expert in this cutting edge science on their board of directors. fntn.com
Shortly after Joe Engelberger's appointment to the BOD in 1998 Michael Barron posted this interesting and illuminating message: talk.techstocks

For those interested in this technology data mining seems to be a technique exhibiting 'logic' in finding trends and patterns on subjects and that this information is usually derived from huge amounts of data.
A better definition is one I found in "Introduction to Data Mining".............
"DATA MINING (also known as Knowledge Discovery in Data -KDD) has been defined as "The nontrivial extraction of implicit , previously unknown , and potentially useful information from data". [1] It uses machine LEARNING , statistical VISULATION techniques to discover and present knowledge in a form in which is easily comprehensible to humans".

There are many who think Michael Sheppard and FNTN'S BOD is well along in their way of "reinventing" FNTN and that it'll be a first class company in a very fast growing intranet industry and this (data mining engine) addition is just one of several cutting edge improvements.
