Last time I heard, KLAC's market share in wafer inspection equipment was huge - WAY over 50%. In order for AMAT to have "virtually 50 pct" share in that market, KLAC would have to have suffered a huge loss in market share, and I don't see how that could be true without it being reflected in lagging stock performance. Wafer inspection is one of their big money makers, and KLAC's stock price has DEFINITELY not been lagging lately.

While NVLS is a great company, I would be surprised if they ever had a market share that huge.
