I got in a bit early as well and at this point am showing a tangible loss.. I tend to average down for longer term position so depending on how this unfolds I may or may not do that in the near future but I agree with your points.. I'd rather company deliver results.. They report mid March.

However, I do think the company will have to polish up the IR machine because like it or not the investment game has changed last little while and they will have to do what ever it takes to appreciate the company's currency... Let's face it.. This is large company.. They have to be making sales, signing contracts, winning customers and they have to mention all of that as a matter of course and keep investors' attention.. And they have to get to NYSE or Nasdaq where their peers are....

"why hold geac when you can buy RIM, or SW, etc. and double/triple your money in a matter of months.

in terms of whether management should comment on the downward pressure of the share price? i don't think that is necessary as they have more to worry about than what investors think about the company's stock price...i wold much rather see management focus their efforts on making this company work so that the share price will move up on the company's merits."

I agree with both your above comments, I think the price has a lot to do with your first comment. Altough I have some other high risk stocks in my portfolio this one does not worry me the same. I will continue to buy as the price falls and sleep well at night knowing that it is only a matter of time. IN some ways this is almost "easy" investing since in years gone but it would have been very difficult to find a quality comapany like Geac ( P/e ~8) at these prices. Time will tell.

John

Couldnt help but jump in. There are a lot of stocks out there with very good value being ignore at least for the short term. ATI to mention only one. There are stocks with a lot of sizzle and good PR that a relatively inexperienced market are chasing, IF these companies dont deliver some steak in the near future they will come crashing down and it will be a very sobering experience for a lot of investors that in many cases have done no DD. At that point investors will start looking at underlying value, IF they are still intact financially. I could sign this "Been there long enough to know"
