Paul,

Gateway DID NOT depart from the Intel fold.

It's not a separation, or a divorce, but Gateway is definitely fooling around.

Joe

Paul,
You know, a lot of people hate Intel just because of
your rantings. You are doing a disservice to Intel.
Remember Anthony Mascarenas aka Stockman? Intel Technician at the Rio Rancho facility. Apparently, some of his co-workers turned him in because they were so embarrassed by his posts. His superiors cut his hands from the keyboard so fast he didn't know what hit him.
How many Intel employees out there would like to cut your hands away from the keyboard when you go into a rant even if you are no longer an Intel employee? Spare them the embarrassment Paul.

Jim

PS... refill those presciptions tomorrow...<G>

Hi Paul:

Feel a need to twist do you $35 and 11/16's guy?

You know as well as do I that GTW's taking on the Athlon was not an easy decision for GTW, especially in light of their AMD problem 1 year earlier. They were pushed into making such a decision by Intel's false promises of a better day tomorrow...It is precisely the fact that GTW jumped back into the AMD fold after an unpleasant AMD experience pre Athlon, that underscores the very serious production difficulties Intel was and is currently experiencing!
