Dear Ed: Your questions are not stupid but I bet they gave a number of us a good laugh!!! You see, we have been griping about the late opening for a very long time on this thread. You obviously havent read past posts. Many of us have even sent emails to the company regarding same. As to trading afterhours, well in fact they are. That has been another gripe as for some reason, many of the services adjust the closing price of EMC to the afterhour price. We dont agree with that because the afterhour market is not liquid and not generally accurate in reflecting the GENERAL market price of a stock. In fact, they did it to us again last night!! JDN
