Party, from that link you posted, it said the following: Device manufacturers are unlikely to support any one digital audio platform exclusively, because consumers want products that play as many different sorts of file formats. It's nice to finally see articles being written that mention this and point to exactly what EDIG can do. Everything is pointing towards EDIG becoming the 'STANDARD' for portable music players. I'm sure all of the SDMI companies are aware of this and their officers are taking positions in EDIG. Mark
