Well lurquer, I could go into a Voltaire-esque aria on New Mexico. Maybe I'd better not, though. I think there is nothing as beautiful in the entire world as the four corners area of America. And in particular I love Santa Fe because it's got enough culture to be satisfying: the Santa Fe Institute is one of the best science think tanks around; Los Alamos attracts good scientists too; it's a city known for its art; writers like to live there too; and the food is great. Plus I like the intersection of anglo, Native American, and Spanish culture. I don't go to the opera, tho.
