While we are discussing the topic of bailouts: Wednesday February 2, 5:27 pm Eastern Time Clinton plan leads way to farm law rewrite-Daschle WASHINGTON, Feb 2 (Reuters) - President Clinton's plan for an additional $11 billion in farm spending will spearhead Democratic efforts to revise the ``Freedom to Farm' law, Senate Democratic Leader Tom Daschle said on Wednesday. The White House plan calls for farm subsidy spending to go up automatically during periods of low prices, like now. It includes $3.1 billion for special aid following the fall harvest. ``Clearly, we're thinking along the same lines,' Daschle, of South Dakota, told reporters. The $11 billion ``is a good start.' Daschle said Democrats wanted to rewrite farm policy (cont)biz.yahoo.com Thanks for the comments about the posts, from one day to the next, who really knows what does or does not effect the prices of the precious metals? Near everyone here (and a great many other places) agree there has been a manipulation of the price of the precious metals. Remember just a couple of years ago, when we first spoke of a conspiracy (remember all, it only takes two for a conspiracy) to manipulate the price of the precious metals? Everyone thought those few in agreement about the existence of manipulation were simply daft! Of "the enemy of my enemy" statement, I'll answer with a few questions. If one is aware of a the commission a crime and does nothing, is that person also guilty of a crime? If those empowered to protect & defend the laws of this land fail to do so and thereby benefit (directly & or indirectly) from the commission of a crime, are they also guilty of a crime? Is hatred(without any action) of criminals a crime?
