Well I did not hear the CNBC segment. But the fact that the GE spokesman was asked about X and Y, and spoke about X and Y but failed to mention Z does not, on the face of it, strike me as saying anything about Z. Context matters. Moreover, corporate spokesmen are trained to stick to the topic(s) in question, which were in this instance, I understand, fuel cells and the Duke deal.
