I put a sell limit order in this morning. When I tried to cancel it, the server would not respond. I finally turned off the computer after about 20 frustrating minutes. I didn't find out until after I got home from work whether I still owned the stock or not. Fortunately, it worked out alright for me (though I could have sold a half point higher). I hope Datek tells us what happened and what they are doing about it.

Some people have all the luck.... did two trades(by phone) Fri AM and had no problem( wait 20 sec). Prompt and efficient AND ONLY 9.95.

Had the opportunity to compare E-trade quotes Fri versus what Datek had on their streamer. Datek was 40 to 60 seconds ahead of e trade. Both were claiming real time info.

What I'm trying to say is Datek isn't that bad....
