A minor win, but a win nonetheless: "The Department of State, Office of Acquisitions, intends to issue a purchase order to Identicator Corp. for the procurement of DFR-90 Fingerprint Scanners (49ea.), DFR-P Replacement Platen (132 ea) and MMC-DMDC Cable Power Pack (23ea.). The Identicator DFR-90 Fingerprint Scanner has been deployed in all Consular Systems Modernization installations that include the Border Crossing Card system (BCC). The integration of the fingerprint scanner in the system configuration enables Consular staff members to incorporate biometrics in Border Crossing Cards both as authentication elements and as fraud deterent features."
