John, Also interesting that Intel is trading at a PE of 50+, for the first time in my memory. Is the market re-valueing Intel for the new
businesses? Or is it just the great prospects for the core business? And who cares <g>?


I care. I look at Intel on Big Charts now and then for a graph of price vs. P/E. It touched on 40 for a short time last January, again in September, the only showings at 40 or more in the last 5 years. Hmmm.

Of course, we can always come back with 'well, how about SUNW or EMC, not to mention Cisco.' Intel is less than half those guys.
