FST: I held the bid at 8.75 for a while. Now 8.625.

Debt/equity: FST (1.24), OEI (1.64), XTO (4) per MSN

Margin being stretched. Winkman

Does anyone have a good explanation for the light volume seen in the broad market and especially the energy sector of late? It's a very disturbing sign imho.

CAM, FLC, SLB, OEI etc...volume is simply not there.

The only thing moving these days is techs. Oil stocks especially E&P's are not responding to good news. The overall market is ignoring bad news in the form of more rate hikes.

I completely off margin now. I don't like this market one bit.

As for FST down on heavy volume before earnings is a very bad sign. I would hesitate to buy a big position until after earnings even if it get's cheaper. Granted some pretty bad news is already priced in, but today's market seems completely momentum driven.
