joseph...future of dell stock

let's cover all bases....up, down or flat.....

what many refuse to admit is the change in market psychology. not saying i concur with how "less then value" companies are constantly bid up, but not foolish enough to deny such daily occurrences.

money is following money....tremendous cash inflows, a total disconnect from historical markets, decisions made by the individual investor, not by the investors broker, more ownership of common stock by the investor, less interest in stock mutual funds, cash flowing into index funds....

all this to say, it is a momentum market....most will not let an investment lie fallow for one quarter, let alone a year....too easy at the moment to jump on a momentum issue.

dell, unless the company resoundly sends a message of "vision" or "reinvention" to the street will slowly appreciate. i'm sure it will see a new high at some point, but it is no longer the stock it once was.......and that is not a speculative statement or opinion from my vantage point, that is reality...

pc centric is over, telecom, broadband, fiber, et al is the designated investment of the next decade, again not opinion but observation...

decision is yours, if you feel comfortable with a zero cost, and who wouldn't, perhaps consider generating monthly cash from the stock through covered calls....if you feel it is time to move on, it owes you nothing....don't look back, find future opportunity....
