Think of the bright side. You could be living here where we don't expect to see pavement until April.

I wish I could give you some words of encouragement, really I do. But the idea of having all that snow everywhere is just so horrible I can't contemplate it.

The coq au Vin sounds good- but is it really worth risking life and limb to go out to the store for? Don't you have an industrial size freezer with food stuffs in it?

III don't have snow. Why do you? I mean, not new snow. I've got lots and lots of old snow that's just sitting there.

I just got back from court - on the way there I passed an old gentleman of my acquaintance - I am not sure how old he is but he's old enough to have shrunk rather small, somewhere in his mid to late 70's. And there is snow all piled up from snowplows and no clear walkways except close to the court, so you have to walk on the snow to get out of the office complex and then walk along the street for a while, and this fellow grabbed my arm so I would keep him from falling, and held on all the way to the courthouse. I didn't mind, as I've caught him from falling a couple of times, but I was wondering if there was something polite and self-deprecating to say other than "no problem."
