Barrick Achieves Record Year

I expected Barrick to have cash cost of $130, they did $124, including Pierina at only $42/ounce - WOW !

Nope, thanks Michael! Cormier commenting, Charters coming out of his cave, and grumpy ol' Johnson researching. Only a Badger Controller could have helped effect all this.

Quick, ask another good question....

Hmm. Great day for the big miners.
What todays action reveals is how uninterested the retail investor is in the precious metals. Most couldn't care less about the price of gold or silver, just as they see the price of oil as an inconvenience, not an investment opportunity. While it's too early to know the significance of this rally, I find it amazing that... wait a second... I was about to post that all the junior explorer/miners are stagnant, but it looks like they're beginning to budge.

In any case, if we don't get a retracement early next week, and Ag/Au continue their surge, the markets are going to get blindsided and my guess is that everybody playing the dot.com game is suddenly going to want some of the action. Nevertheless, some of the most leveraged junior miners barely moved today and most moved on low volume.

Bob, thanks for the list of miners. Another useful way to organize them is by most to least leveraged to Ag and Au.
