LindyBill,

<< Play Torrey Pines >>

Yup! Great courses ... but I've played several 6+ hour rounds there and course conditions in cerain seasons resemble cow pastures (although course conditions should be excellent right now).

Eating my heart out now watching Pebble.

<<RE>><<Re: Golf in San Diego. Go ahead...Bring 100 Golf Balls. Get angry, and drunk, afterwards.>>

Sorry LB...Didn't mean to upset you. I just thought it would be nostalgic? I didn't think Torrey was tough...But at that time I had a membership at Industry Hills...Maybe you might take some lessons? The head pro at Torrey is an excellent student of the swing...And charges municipal rates for lessons. If you decide to see him...Tell him I sent you...I'm the friend of Joan Adaskins who took a couple lessons with a one iron. Complaint was I hit it too high. He said: "That's the same complaint Jack Nicklaus has".

OT Torrey Pines

100 golf balls? Wow that makes me feel good. The most I ever lost there was 12...but then I probably stopped counting by then! <VBG>
