yikes! Haven't been buying wine much since the early part of the decade. I didn't realize how much Caymus took off in price!

Anyway, I never buy the name. I used to go to many tastings and find great wines at reasonable prices. It's funny, my brother spends quite a lot on named Chateau wine and my choices still stand out, IMO.

Another great one was the 1983 Grand Puy Lacoste. And then there was the '85 Hermitage from E. Guigal. I'm sure most people couldn't touch these wines for under a hundred bucks these days.
