Remember what happened the last time that gold spiked?

Producers were seriously caught in their hedging schemes.

The Fed will probably have to step in and calm the markets down, but I'm not sure that the damage is such that we'll see a repeat of the LTCM debacle.

30 year bonds have competition from corporate bonds (as it should be).

Paul it is rumor about Goldman Sachs, I have not seen anything stating it is true.
