"Uncle Charlie" sounds like "Uncle Ed," my father's father's brother, whose entire worldly goods fit into a box when he died. Someone brought the box to our house after Uncle Ed died, and I remember the box, but not what was in it. Uncle Ed used to give us kids giant Hershey bars whenever he saw us, and once I determined that there were no Hershey bars in the box, I lost interest, except to make a mental note that when I die, I'd like to leave more than that behind, which may explain my fascination with solid wood furniture. Solid wood furniture is so heavy that I am unable to move any piece by myself, except for my cherry Windsor chair and a few other small pieces, so who knows what I'll leave behind eventually? However, it will be at least the Windsor chair. And a little silver. And some jewelry. And 20,000 books. And boxes of photographs. And my cobalt blue glass. And . . . . But I am not a packrat!

Presumably? Presumably?
You don't know what's in Uncle Charlie's box?
What an impressive lack of curiosity!
I don't even know Uncle CHarlie, and I am consumed by a desire to know what's in that box.

Hmm, this worries me. I had planned to generously give all my silver to the boys' wives on their wedding days with crocodile tears in my eyes and glee in my heart, the same way my mother gave it to me. it sounds as if young people have caught on to the ruse, though.
