Conexant Systems Inc. {CNXT} provides analog PC and fax
modem chipsets and semiconductor products for wireline and
wireless communications applications. The company has
exceeded analysts' estimates during each of the past four
quarters by an average margin of 6.7 cents. Excluding the
$0.15 upside surprise in Q4 of 1998, the margin of surprise
still averages 4.0 cents per quarter.

Hope that helps a little.

Bottom Fishers:
BAANF is a great long term play at these levels and yet another way to play Europe.

Steven Finkel: Regarding CNXT move, it is in response to a downgrade of VTSS by a brokerage firm (Bank of America, I think) which mentioned that it thought VTSS was losing market share to CNXT products.
