Too much critical thought can also hurt your investment.

Jefferson -- Thanks for stirring the pot, the thread is too quiet. But, I cannot see any benefit in scanned bills versus what Checkfree does now. I set up my bank bill pay site to pay my repeating bills each month. For those bills that change in amount, I go in once a month and adjust the amount only; takes two seconds. Thus even though I don't get alot of bills electronically, as I would through a scanner, I still do not have to do much of anything with the paper bills. In fact, I do not even open my "level" bills when they come, but just dump them. The others, to open and look for the amount is hardly an inconvenience -- not so much as to make me pay for a scanner service.
