It is the Central Bank of Austria & here in they are talking about "Risk in Options on Foreign Currency & Gold"!

I guess the "good news" is they only played "standard options not complex options, binary options, or barrier options".

Richard, Interesting idea about the new govt in Austria being the "behind the scenes" cause! I've been listening all day to the usual diplomatic drivel about withdrawing ambassadors and all that to protest a new conservative government, and watching the gold upswing on the charts, but I hadn't thought about the possible gold market connections until you spelled it out for me.
