My belief in Nuclear Winter has kept me out of semiconductor stocks and a lot of other techs for a very long time. Upon reading all these news, I began to understand why the chip foundries in Taiwan have been able to raise prices for 2 quarters in a row and the SOX index is shooting to the moon. This goes on despite the fact that many business PC vendors announced disappointing results. This is not to say that SOX is not outrageously priced and there are no potential inventories, but in this mania one is supposed to have blind hope for stocks as long as the stocks have a good story to tell. -ng-
